High Lead Bronze
OVERVIEW
High Lead bronze has moderate strength and good corrosion resistance that can withstand mild acids found in mine waters. High Lead bronze has superb wear resistance at high speeds, low friction between shaft and bushing allows high lead bronze to be used where lubrication is poor and minor shaft misalignment exist. High Lead bronze is not recommended for heavy oscillating load, strength is partially sacrificed to prioritize the adaptability of bronze material to prevailing shaft condition. High Lead bronze will not cause shaft and bronze to seize nor weld together during operation
